What a night for SV Surveying Ltd at the ProCon Leicestershire Awards Nominations Evening.
We had the pleasure of attending a fantastic celebration of the projects that are transforming Leicestershire and it was inspiring to see the innovation, collaboration and quality on display throughout the evening.
Even more exciting was seeing several projects we’ve been directly involved in featured among the nominations. It’s moments like these that remind us how proud we are to contribute to the shaping of our local communities and the built environment.

New Kit Investment
SV Surveying Ltd continues to push the boundaries of precision and performance. As part of our commitment to delivering maximum quality and efficiency, we’ve made another major investment in the latest surveying technology.
Joining our growing fleet is the new Leica BLK Gen 2 Scanner, a powerful tool that brings faster, more detailed, and more versatile scanning capabilities to our workflows. This upgrade means even greater accuracy, quicker turnaround times, and enhanced deliverables for our clients.
To further strengthen our on-site capabilities, we’ve also taken delivery of a new Leica GS18 GNSS receiver and two Leica TS16 robotic total station kits. These additions ensure we stay ahead of the curve with increased flexibility, precision, and productivity across a wide range of projects.

I’m pleased to say that SV Surveying Ltd has bucked the trend this year, closing out the 2024–2025 financial year with a strong and profitable annual report.
Despite ongoing challenges in the wider economic climate and increasing pressure on small businesses through added red tape and delays in government support for the construction sector, we’re seeing clear signs of progress and positive growth.

Visiting County Hall to discuss Flooding
Managing Director Elliott Allman was invited to Leicester County Hall to meet with elected councilors and to discuss the flooding issues facing Leicestershire. The meeting focused on the causes and impacts of flooding, as well as exploring how the surveying profession can support the council’s efforts.
Elliott highlighted the important role surveyors can play in flood risk assessment, data analysis, and planning to help mitigate damage and protect communities. Both parties agreed on the value of ongoing collaboration to develop effective flood management solutions for the region.
Ben joined us three months ago as a Trainee Surveyor and has successfully completed his probation period to a fantastic standard. He is now enrolled on SV Surveying’s in-house training program.
Working alongside experienced surveyors, Ben will continue to develop his skills, learn new surveying techniques, and work towards achieving technical chartership with the CICES.
Well done, Ben – keep up the great work!
