Our main services include Measured Building Surveys, Topographic and Land Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, Measured Elevation Surveys, GPS Surveying, Hidden Utility and Flood Risk Assessment Surveys.
Topographic surveys are carried out using Leica electronic total stations to capture 3D observation data on site. This data is then processed in LSS surveying software to produce a Digital Terrain Model.
Over recent years there has been a growing awareness about flooding and the environmental impact on areas at risk. SV Surveying Ltd offer a service to produce professional topographical surveys to form the basis of the flood risk assessment submission.
SV Surveying Ltd is able to provide a surveying service closely tailored to the requirements of Landscape Architects, Garden Designers and others interested in planning the natural environment.
This service is available to all clients large or small. Our floor plan surveys are accurately measured on site by modern, “state of the art” Leica Laser Distance Measuring equipment linked to laptops running MBS software to survey and record the floor plans.
Measured building elevation surveys are available to all Architects Large or small. Our building elevation surveys are accurately measured on site by modern up to date Leica Laser Distance Measuring equipment.
Utilising the latest technology and software, 3D Laser Scanning provides a high level of detail and accuracy in a fraction of the time of traditional survey methods. Suitable to both 2D and 3D outputs, laser scanning can benefit projects in a variety of ways.

Setting out is the technical process of which co-ordinates are set out on site with a specified material. This will mark out control points and building points for your construction team to build from.
This survey will help you confirm your legal ownership on site and can assist in any legal case. A boundary survey will settle a dispute between two or more parties who disagree on ownership or liabilities of the land.
